ANNOUNCING OUR NEW BLOG! CHECK OUT: http://vancetwins12.blogspot.com/

Thank you for visiting our new Internet site. I'm soo excited to finally have my book out and ready for you to read! It's been a crazy process getting words into the computer! Lots of writing highs and lows, but it's definitely been worth it. I've learned so much. First I need to thank my family for being of great support so I could actually get this thing written. It is because of their stability and love that I was able to take so much time to write about my trip to Seoul, South Korea in search for my Korean family. It's because of my family stability and love that I was able, for the past three years, to research international adoption. Now is the time to share my experiences and celebrate!

I urge you to pick up a copy of my book The Search for Mother Missing: a peek inside international adoption. Inside reveals the ups and downs of our trip to Seoul, South Korea that many adoptees face usually without complete understanding from loved ones or from within the communities we live in. Most of all, I want you to know, via the reading of my book, that you belong to a universal club --I call it the "unknown" culture club.

Adoptees (in my particular case Korean-born adoptees) are a growing but, compared to most "flocks," a separated community. I hope this book will help us stick together and be a support for each other. Yes (for those of you who are adoptees), there are others out there (like you) who have survived challenges, experienced great ephiphanies and thrived! And there are others out here, on mother earth, who are still struggling. We must wish everyone the best so that our "culture club" can become united and strong. We need each other. This book has been inspired by you, our supporters and friends. I am dedicating this book to future children in an effort that they will be filled with peace about who they are so that they can share their joy with others thus make this world a better place for all of us.

It is because of my experience as an adoptee, my trip to Seoul at the 2004 Gathering, the tireless love from family, the research into our "unknown" community and the courage of Seoul "brothers and sisters" that I've been able to write this story. If this voice I've found resonates with you, I want you to know it not only belongs to me, it belongs to you. Always remember, you belong to something much bigger than you can ever imagine! My twin and I want you to know that, though we might not know you personally, you are an important part of the overseas adoptee community. Please keep in touch. Let us know your thoughts. Hope you enjoy! Much appreciation! Check back to this site to find out exactly WHEN the book will be released.
